That does sound a lot like us actually. Except for the "intelligence" bit. :D

Joke aside, I still feel the unit could use more of an identity and a framework to build upon. We tend to just do whatever as long as you could possibly imagine Rangers doing it, and sometimes a bit beyond that. Which is fun and all but falls short on the MilSim side of things IMO.

I'm not sure if you're talking about our member's cognitive aptitude or proficiency in reconnaissance?

Well... yeah it was a joke about mental capacity. But on the other hand, right now we are neither a badass straight-up infantry unit nor the elite recon and counterterror force outlined in that article. I'm absolutely fine being somewhere in between, but right now what we are varies widely depending on who made and who participated in any given mission.
